Yesterday, the Andor Urbán Centre in Parajd was populated with young filmmakers: this year, nearly thirty young filmmakers from Transylvania, Hungary and Vojvodina will start working together.
This morning, three talented young directors – Sára Budrala, Petra Pantyi and Gergely Lukács – pitched their film projects in front of the other residents of the camp. A return to tradition, a grief story and the late coming of age of two childhood friends, drama and humour are all part of the three films that will be ready for the big premiere on Saturday evening.
Over the next few days, the participants will slowly build up their crews and the team members will begin the intensive brainstorming needed to start filming early this week. The creative process is primarily a learning process, with guidance and support from the mentoring team.
The camp will end on Sunday 13 July.
